“If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.” - Jim Rohn
I believe that everyone should have their own life plan – a written plan that is measureable and reviewable.
My clients are professional people – business owners, lawyers, medics to name a few. And they have life plans. My clients and I have sat down and thought about what they want to happen to them and their families short, medium and long term. Once we’ve done that, we then aim to get them to where they want to be at the various stages of their lives, setting out a strategy to get them there – backed up by the expertise and comprehensive range of planning tools offered by St. James’s Place Wealth Management, and by my own experience and knowledge as a fully qualified Chartered Financial Planner.
And then, every 12 months or so, we review the life plan, and take any action necessary to maximise the chances of realising it.
Devising a life plan isn’t a product led discussion. It’s led by what you want to happen in the future with your career, your retirement, your family, your lifestyle. We then quantify what you need and when, and work to get you there.
